The Realm

Shouldn't we all strive to be out of the ordinary? Maybe it's just me. Perhaps one's definition of "ordinary" can accommodate mediocrity all too often. An excuse. "Well, that is the ordinary thing to do, isn't?" Same as the word "normal". As long as we are all "normal", then "acceptable" will follow.

Working on moving from the realm of ordinary to the realm of art is no small task. I am haunted by the undertaking, but pleased to be able to say one day that I tried.
